The IESE AI Initiative is organizing a conference on the economics of AI to be held at IESE in Barcelona, Spain, on Friday 22 November.
This program aims to bring together scholars with diverse perspectives to foster a research community interested in studying the impact of AI on society and the economy. The conference will provide opportunities for in-depth research discussions and interactions both inside and outside the seminar room. It will cover a broad range of topics within the economics of AI and its intersection with other fields.
We are honored to announce that Philippe Aghion (College de France, INSEAD, Harvard) will be the keynote speaker for the conference. His groundbreaking research on economic growth, innovation, and the economics of AI has profoundly influenced contemporary economic thought. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to gain insights from one of the leading experts in the field.
All researchers interested in presenting a paper are invited to submit completed papers or extended abstracts (approximately 3-5 pages). Please send your submissions (PDF of the paper or extended abstract) via this link no later than September 30, 2024.
Accepted participants will be notified by October 15, 2024. The conference will cover the lodging costs for presenters.
