The Society for Institutional and Organizational Economics (SIOE) studies institutions and organizations, primarily from the perspective of economics. SIOE has the goal of integrating this work with strategic management, political science, law, evolutionary anthropology, sociology, and history.
In 2025, SIOE will hold its annual conference from Sunday, August 24 through Tuesday August 26 at UNSW Sydney, Australia. The gala event will be held at the Museum of Contemporary Arts, across from the Sydney Opera House. We will also have ocean swims, surfing lessons, and a whale watching walk for those interested. August is the best time of year to visit Australia (Great Barrier Reef, Uluru).
Submissions from all the above fields are welcome. We will accept individual paper submissions and panels.
NB: SIOE 2025 is held right after the World Congress of the Econometrics Society in Seoul (August 18-22). There are several direct flights every day from Seoul to Sydney.
Submission deadline: 15 January 2025. Acceptance will be notified in early March.
