1) Lectures hosted by Association for Comparative Economic Studies (ACES), January 6-7, 2021

ACES is hosting online lectures on “Empirical and Theoretical Directions in Comparative Economics, Development and Institutions” by Noam Yuchtman (LSE) on January 6 (10am-4pm ET) and Georgy Egorov (Northwestern) and Konstantin Sonin (Chicago) on January 7 (10am-4pm ET).

ACES has been so kind to make sessions free and open to the public, though registration is required. To register, please contact Brian Deutsch, Membership Director of the ACES to specify which dates you wish to attend: briandeutsch@pitt.edu

2) SIOE’s 2021 conference will be online during June 24-26

There will be three plenary sessions: keynote addresses by Melissa Dell (Harvard) and Ekaterina Zhuravskaya (PSE) and a panel of past ISNIE / SIOE Presidents on “What Would Coase, North, Ostrom, and Williamson Want Us to Remember?”

There will also be sessions of submitted papers in the style of SIOE’s in-person conferences. The process for choosing papers, including the submission deadline, will be announced shortly.
