The Society for Institutional and Organizational Economics (SIOE) studies institutions and organizations, primarily from the perspective of economics. SIOE has the goal of integrating this work with strategic management, political science, law, evolutionary anthropology, sociology, and history.
In 2026, SIOE will hold its annual conference from Monday 13 July to Wednesday 15 July at INSEAD on the Fontainebleau (France) campus. Fontainebleau, located just south of Paris, is home to the Château de Fontainebleau, a royal castle for over eight centuries and Napoleon’s favorite residence. It is surrounded by the Fontainebleau forest, a world-renowned bouldering destination. The gala event will be held at Le Cercle, a "hôtel particulier" that hosted NATO officials after World War II.
Submissions from all the above fields are welcome. We will accept individual paper submissions and panels.
Submission deadline: 15 January 2026. Acceptance will be notified in early March.
